Back in December, Facebook started testing colorful status updates, which were then released to everyone in March. Now, the same feature has made its way to WhatsApp as well.
From now on, you can create and post status updates with the font and background color of your choice. Additionally, you can also add links to the mix if you want.
These colorful status updates have been quite popular on Facebook so far, as they stand out and look a lot nicer than those that only contain text. It’s a simple feature to use that makes sure your post will grab a bit more attention.
As before, you can still control who can see your status updates by heading into the privacy settings. You can also check out who viewed them with the help of the small eye icon as well as reply to updates.
